Steering Vibration / Intervention Question
Bought new X5 over a month ago and been using steering vibration & intervention which is part of safety features. Overall, its great except at times when you are intentionally crossing lanes to avoid potholes.
Only thing I am curious to know is are there any consequences or impacts (maintenance) longer term in using these features? Are the breaks worn at faster rate by using steering intervention? I plan on keeping car for longer term and want to be aware of any maintenance that could potentially come up by using these features. Thanks in advance |

The steering intervention doesn't do anything with the brakes unless it also detects a collision imminent, then, it would try to slow down.
If you don't want the warning when crossing a divider line, use your signals. |
