Sparta Evolution Braking Systems: An Introduction
Hello forum members.
We just wanted to introduce ourselves here on F87 post. You may have heard of us or seen some of our products on some important cars over on F80 post. We partnered with European Auto Source for their AY AC Schnitzer M4 build that started in 2014. One of our favorite cars was our marketing and testing car, a 2014 BSM F80 M3 on TE37SLs with meaty Toyo R888s. These cars have been some of our more street friendly monsters, but our true passion is on track. We have won the 25 hours of Thunderhill with Strom Motorsport on their E90 328. As well as running with their Liqui Moly livery M4 for the 2016 season. We also have several other E9xs, E46s and E36s that run in BMWSCCA and other competitive series. We work with many different makes and models from all over the world but it is the ultimate driving machine that has captured our love and admiration as being just that, the ultimate driving machine. Sparta Evolution, located in Seattle, WA, is a research, development, and manufacturing firm dedicated to producing the highest quality brake systems for motor sports and every day use. With the brightest and most passionate enthusiasts, drivers, and engineers in the industry, we are continually evolving to ensure our brakes look, feel, and perform at the absolute peak of your cars braking potential. Our extensive engineering, prototyping, and testing extends throughout the manufacturing process to ensure our quality driven components are as affordable as they are effective. Sparta Evolution products are delivered to our valuable worldwide customers with unparalleled levels of quality, documentation, and packaging. We are constantly in the pursuit of higher performance through the experiences and knowledge we have earned though years in the racing industry. This bank of knowledge allows us to apply a greater level of development and growth to all of the products in our lineup. Strength is reborn and refined by Sparta Evolution. Sparta Evolution currently offers several different products on the market. Sparta has 3 different big brake systems including our Triton R, Triton, and Saturn systems. For any of the non-M daily drivers we offer one piece OEM replacement rotors called the GP-1. One of the most important parts of the braking system is the proper brake fluid in which we have two types: our P518 high temperature performance brake fluid and R622 racing brake fluid. In the coming weeks we will be releasing several new products including our own line of Sparta Performance Pads and Sparta Racing Pads. These will be available in OE pad shapes, as well as common FMSI shapes for those customers who are already running BBKs. Last but not least, we will also be coming out with our GP-1200 rotors. A 2 piece OEM replacement rotor for our M car customers. We look forward to developing a great relationship with all of the forum members here. Best, Connor F. Thank you for the kind words. We are pretty happy with it.
Unfortunately, haven't been able to make any ducting for the M2. We do not usually engineer any additional cooling for the brake kits that we produce. I know that cooling is one of the more important issues for the M2, especially when on stock brakes. We may look into engineering some, but don't hold me to it. |

We do all of the forging and machining of our disc hats and adapters in house. Our BBK is designed to work with our 380mm rotors that are thicker then the normal M2 380mm rotor. Therefore we needed to engineer a different hat and adapter to work with our rotors. However, we are finishing up designs of our 2 piece OEM replacement rotors that will work with the factory caliper. Our hats will only be able to bolt to our rotor rings but replacing rings will be cheaper then replacing entire brake rotors. |
