ParkNow Integration

Okay, this was cool. I pulled into a parking space today and the car prompted me to pay for parking and already had the zone entered (assuming from GPS) on the Control Console.

Pretty cool stuff, man.

Sorry, I didn't take a picture of the screen. But was surprised when it showed up!

I connected ParkNow to connected drive using the ParkNow app. The option to connect showed up after having the ConnectedDrive app installed on my phone.

I took a picture this time, of the parking screen that pops up automatically when I'm parked in a spot that supports it.

I saw this and was setting my account up but I live rual and I don’t get to Philly enough to use it. If I did, it would be a must feature. I love the implementation of how easy it works. City folks should be using this feature a lot.

For the life of me I cannot get this to work in my X7. I have downloaded the app but the “connect to BMW ConnectedDrive” link doesn’t open anything when I tap it. I have rebooted the phone to no avail. I also cannot login via ParkNow’s website. Unknown error message on Safari and Chrome.

Anyone else?

Parknow used to work on my car and now I get an error every time I try to connect to it. I forget the exact error message but it is something related to 'service not available right now'.

I'm pretty sure I remember reading that ParkNow was discontinued since BMW acquired ParkMobile. With the July updates the ParkNow app is deleted and ParkMobile is installed.

Yes, I just checked mine and it does have ParkMobile, not ParkNow that my X3 had.

My app was switched to ParkMobile as well, and it no longer works - at all.

If the ParkNow icon in your iDrive is now green and not blue then you have been moved to the ParkMobile App. You need to uninstall the ParkNow app from your phone and install the ParkMobile App, if you already had the ParkMobile App just log out from the BMW Connected Drive and re-login again, that seemed to fix the car login issue for me
