Here are a Couple pictures of the different colors.
I definitely understand your sentiment. I like the almost "matte" looking gold of those HREs better as well.

I do like the gold. It appeals much more to the "wow" factor on an internet screen. I'm afraid IRL though, it will just look "blingy". "Bold" is good. "Blingy" not so much

I've decided on Matte bronze. I've had matte branze wheels before and loved them, and I think the matte bronze will keep me happy long term.... versus "right now". Plus, with wheels as large as these things are.... maybe going "a bit" more subdued is wise.

Matte black is my go-to..... and what I've used on the past several cars. So I wanted a change this time.

Hopefully ordering within the next week. Everything else is already here.. tires, tpms.. even the drop links.

Yes and also looking at whether you want a warm gold or cool. My wife pointed this out as I was considering a cool gold with my cerium grey trim. A warm wouldn’t match at all. Since your car is white with black trim it probably wouldn’t be as much of a factor. Although your calipers are a cool blue.

I'm not sure yet. I am trusting the experts at Vossen to determine the correct fitment. I will ask them though.

For every extra inch in wheel width you can expect them to come out 1/2 inch on each side with the factory offset. So your 12inch rear wheel will pop both in and out 3/4 more than the stock 10.5 inch wheel.

I'm aware. I actually think it will extend more than .75 inches,.because I believe .75 inches inside, would rub the wheel wells. Not 100% sure, but I trust that they know what they are doing.

Obviously this is a different year, and different color.

But....these are the Vossen HF-2s. fronts are 10.5, rears are 12. This is the look I'm anticipating. He needs a mild lowering. I will be doing one as well.

Cool and congratulations! I will want to see how yours look before I purchase mine. I plan to stick with the stock 22 wheel and tire size so it doesn’t increase the unstrung weight. What color caps are you going with? I think black caps would look sharp.

You know.... I just realized that the ET was listed on the order sheet. Derp.

I'm a bit thrown off though. What is the "+2" part? I get the rest (+39 and +48)... but I'm confused about what "+2" means.

I'm actually quite happy with this setup. They tucked the wheels up under the car quite nicely. I was actually worried they would poke out too far, and make the car look like a roller skate. Now, if I want to, I can always add spacers (which I already own 2 different sizes to test-fit, with lugs and locks to match them).... but if they poked out too far from the get-go, there's nothing I could do.

I believe the center caps will be color-matched in satin bronze, but I'm not 100% sure. Truthfully, I didn't even ask. My "hope" is that I'll be able to re-install my floating centercaps. If not, I'll likely start searching for a BMW set that fits "whatever" size hole the wheels come with. I've never been a big fan of various "branding" of aftermarket parts on my car. We'll see what happens. It'll probably be a mystery until they arrive.

Regarding the "size".... I actually don't like the look of the OEM 22s. IMO, they don't look "deep" enough, as they have almost no... "concavity" (Is that a word? Lol). IMO, because they are taller, with a lower profile tire, it actually gives the illusion that they are "thinner" than my 21s. I know they aren't, but they "look" that way to me. My thought, is that I couldn't justify the price, unless I went "all out" with wheels that were wider than what came stock. A few extra lbs? Ehh... I probably will barely notice it, if at all.

In their web site it seems that's the range of offsets available for that size. So I don't believe you have the offsets specified in the order sheet.
