Will it unlock when your phone or apple watch gets close or do you have to hold it right up next to the driver’s door handle? Also, do you have to open the MyBMW app on the watch or iphone or does the NFC automatically unlock it? Thanks!

For those with Pixel 8 Pro phones that couldn't connect DK+, there is a Google wallet update released today which appears to fix the problem. The notes in the wallet app under digital car keys has been updated to say it is now working with P8P.
