That is for buying with cash or bringing outside financing. When you finance or lease with BMWFS the incentive drops to $500.

Check out BMW military incentive webpage. The current incentive did increase and is good through Oct. 31

I haven't been watching these for long enough to know what they do historically. I'm considering ordering a 2024 now which would have a November build and delivery. Any guesses on whether this might carry into November?

December is usually the month with the most significant discounts from most, if not all, manufacturers. I was gonna wait but waiting isn't something I'm very good at!

I checked on Oct 3 (day after last incentive of $2000 expired) and was surprised to see the increase.

Unlike other incentives that are locked, no harm, when you run the credit report, the domestic military is what is active at the time of sale. My guess is November will also see $4k. It is unusual to change the amount in the middle of the year so we will likely see the $4,000 for awhile.

At times in the past the amount has varied by region but currently it is the same for all regions. The amount varies by model.

Darn, we paid and picked up our 50e on 9/28 and only got the $2k discount that was in place when we ordered the car in July.

Reach out to Customer Service and explain the situation. Depending on your past history with BMW, they may make a goodwill gesture and send you the difference.

Yesterday I ordered a 2024 X5 in Idaho Falls and applied the $4k incentive. In my case the incentive was obtained through Navy Federal Credit Union and True Car who seem to have partnered with BMW in making this available. My military status was verified online and I was sent a customer ID and code that I printed out for my dealer. The certificate listed cash incentives of different amounts for multiple models. My dealer was surprised by the high amount for the X5 and called BMW to verify its authenticity. It was validated and my order was processed. My certificate indicated that this round of incentives are available until 31 October.

Prior to this year the domestic military incentive certificate used the beginning of the calendar year as the expiration date but this year they changed it so it was monthly like the other incentives.

While it likely won't, unless the rules recently changed if the incentive amount changes prior to delivery you won't be able to take the current amount as it is not locked in when running the credit app.

Because there are usually other incentives available when using BMWFS, such as loyalty and APR credit, so they can't offer too many incentives as it would not be worth it.

You can stack loyalty with the domestic military incentive but then you must finance with BMWFS and when you do that the military incentive drops to $500.

Corporate can not be used with another incentive.

I just found this verbiage on the corprate flyer:

"These incentives are in addition to current sales offers except loyalty & conquest credits."

Is the"military incentive" considered loyalty or conquest?

From what I'm reading I can use the corprate with the military for a total of $5,500 off the best deal I can secure. I'll do outside financing or pay cash.
