It varies, usually a few weeks into the new model year. With low dealer inventory it may be earlier.

A few weeks? So, if you can order a 25 now then most likely would you then need to go to the dealer to configure for the most accuracy? Looking at the pricing guides Calbears sent it looks like the 24 and 25 configurations wouldn't match up well?

I have seen it a month or more, if they have inventory to sell they will want to do that. Those that order will use the guides and CA info. The overwhelming majority of buyers are not forum members or follow the MYs closely.

Thanks for the reply. If the guides are correct it looks like we are getting some things back that might not have been available on the 24s? I saw cooled seats and a few other options for the 40i that I wasn't able to configure for the 24. Or it's those are only available if parts aren't in the dreaded shortage lol.

What do you think on those options they have listed. Will they truly be available?

My guess is that they will be supply dependent. They have been available for order in and off during 24 but wasn’t reflected on the Configurator. Hopefully All of the missing items will be on more than off. 😏

No, there is no set week of the month. Give Genius a call with your production number and they can give you the production week.

I didn’t ask them for a production number yet because last week I told them I wanted it, They are a big dealer and they confirmed that I would get their first X640i allocation , so I thought I would give them till early next week and ask them for the production number then. Last time I purchased one from them they said the same thing & they came through as promised.
separately I am really skeptical that BMW is not going to upgrade the X5X6 for another full two years, the reason I say that is cause technology is changing so fast now that seems like no real changes for 3 years is an extremely long time, even even though of course, They sell everyone that they can make.

A Priority 1 option means that only a customer ordered/sold car can select. Dealership stock can’t order a P1 option/color. P1 option doesn’t change the que priority—sometimes can delay production such as individual interior color and/ot trim.

My SA was able to order the Climate Comfort Package for MY24 40i, while this is not available in the Online Configurator, Talk to your SA?

Unfortunate that you can’t order air suspension in 40i variant with M-sport package. 😢
I have air on my M60i and really like it. Would like to do the same for my wife’s vehicle but not sure I would want to give up the look of the M sport.

On the X6 40i it has been possible for last 2 months to build one with M Sport &
Air suspension.
Would think for 2025 that would not change, air suspension has been in stock again for a while now.

There is no such thing as future production runs, they are constantly being produced. Making a change may or may not effect your scheduled production week, it all depends on the change and the availability of it.
