Interested in what you think about this ...

Just spoke to a SA in Seattle about placing an order for MY25 40i. They have 3 allocations for MY25. He was unwilling to discuss any discounts to MSRP, saying it doesn't happen in this market, especially for a "car they haven't seen yet". I tried to argue the point but it went nowhere.

Any advice on approaches to get a better deal on a MY25? What level of discounts should I realistically expect (I told him 8%).

That region has historically offered the lowest discounts in the country. Back a few years ago when 8-10% was fairly routine the PNW was at 3-4%. I would say if you could get 1-2% at this time you would be doing fairly well given the circumstances.

I can only recommend Scott with Insigt Auto. Found him via leasehacker. Very great experience and will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who asks. Contacted him Nov 2023, ordered Dec 2023, and picked up Jan 2024, so very recent interaction with him. Comms was outstanding, and had my back until i signed the dotted line.

Theres also Next Level Auto who is active here and leasehacker. No personal experience with them so cant comment.

Many here have used Next Level Auto Brokers with good results. You may have to travel to get it but it’s a guaranteed great road trip.

“This market” today is very different than “this market” in 2022. Today’s “this market” is exactly the one that you get discount.

I'm in Seattle and after a similar experience with BMW Seattle I ended up ordering a 50e through Scott @ Insight Auto. I havent taken delivery yet (build week 11), but the process was super easy and Im hoping the delivery process will be equally painless.

Great to know. Show us pictures when you get it and let us know how the delivery goes.
