MSS finally on
Too a few quick pics. This is about 100 miles post install so they have yet to settle. I would give it a week of driving to find its settling point.
I'm already pleased though

To be quite honest,
I would say it's not much different from stock.
I would say the car is more absorbent of the bumps and def feels more stable on the road.
But then again, you have to keep in mind that I haven't driven it much since install And the fact that I drive on NYC streets, I don't think any mod would make a big difference for us NYC drivers.
Will update weekly as springs settle in.

thanks for taking the time to post good quality photos of 3 different angles ... it looks great from all angles!!

the lower stance looks just right ... i must say i'm surprised at BMW getting this wrong, as i've always been a car enthusiast, so it's part of the "car project" to modify a car to my taste, the process of using a forum like this, finding the right suppliers and installers, engaging with other car owners to see what works or doesn't etc etc, is all part of the enjoyment and hobby aspect of owning a car ...

... but to a number of friends, the idea of having to replace springs (or similar) on a brand new car, is just bizarre, and not something they would entertain, which is why i'm surprised that BMW would allow such a high ride / stance when the typical X5M buyer isn't likely to want to have to mess around with such things!

Thanks mate! Yours is amazing as well. Going to speak categorically

1. I'm thinking about it.

2. Thank you, and we're very fortunate. Here in the US and in New York, I don't have a front license plate (currently) on this car, for reasons you shared about having a clean end. Enforcement of it isn't a high priority for most police, and in a few of the areas I frequent I have friends within the respective forces.

3. The F96 X6M's are missing rear wipers as specified by design or function. Likely presumably due to the airflow sweeping over and past the car, as the back window doesn't get as dirty.

In fact, this isn't the only feature missing on X6M's. We're also missing those retractable grab-handles on the inner headliner (which I miss dearly when getting out of the car) along with that rear lower motorized door that lowers, when the rear hatch opens. The X6M's only have one panel that opens up, in the rear.

"Less is more" doesn't seem applicable here :

So because your opinion is that an SUV should have a ride height of a sedan, "BMW got it wrong" lol.

Maybe BMW knows out of the thousands and thousands of X5M/X6M models they will sell, only a couple dozen or so on this forum will go through the trouble to turn an appropriate ride-height SUV into a low-rider with altered suspension that can no longer corner as hard and as well as OEM designed.

Not to mention, not everyone thinks the OEM stance is wrong, some buyers would never consider doing the various mods that seem to be a universal claptrap on here....

Yes, it's my opinion ... it's an internet forum after all. take your point that maybe most X5M buyers won't be bothered enough about the ride height, but given other car manufacturers can get this right, it's shame. not sure about your claim that MSS springs mean the X5M can't corner as hard as OEM thought. thanks for your positive contribution.
