UK servicing costs

Really annoyed with myself for not buying the service inclusive pack for £450. I failed to spot it was being replaced by monthly service plans back in July. The monthly service plan works out at about £1080 in total. Looking at the cost of each service e.g. oil and microfilters and the oil microfilters, fuel filter etc these costs seemed to have doubled this year. I guess dealers/ BMW are trying to make up for the heavy discounts they are having to give to sell cars.

Outrageous prices.... may go to a BMW Indy.

Yes I noticed the same thing -- the cheap service plan was discontinued when I bought, and they didn't even have a replacement yet... clearly trying to claw back all that money we've made on their back...

Luckily over 3 years I expect max 2 services, so that should cap the money involved...

I took mine in for some warranty work and they did the first service (oil/filters) for free. I've no idea why, but it seemed incredibly generous.

Blimey yes, that's north of 400 or 500 quid saved there!
