iDrive needs a lap timer

Has anyone found a way to add a timer (stopwatch) to the iDrive display? I'm using Android Auto and there are no compatible apps I could find that provide that feature. I'm willing to use a launcher if I thought it were stable and had the features I want (e.g. timer). Anyone else solved the timer on screen problem?

my 45e has an ///M timer app, but I haven’t tried it. it was added with either 03/2022 or 07/2022 software

Yes, I have the M Lap Timer too. Unfortunately it doesn't appear as an app in Android Auto so can't use it, and there isn't a comparable timer app for Android that I've found yet. Not giving up though! :-)
