Help Curbed Wheel

The rear wheel of my new X5M competition has curb rash. Now I feel like crying inside.

Can anyone help point to where I can get a replacement that isn't at dealer prices? It's the machined 809M rear 22inch wheel. Im not sure how wide it is, maybe 10.5 inches?

Someone cut me off today had to swerve curbed the rear right black wheel. Dealer has a refinisher that will fix it. Ask your dealer. And I know the feeling

replacement for curb rash!!! there are plenty of shops who repair wheels, some actually only deal with very high end cars too. I remember asked for prices while back and it's not expensive at all. I already had one, I didn't fix it yet, I will till I curb rash all 4 then maybe!

Very likely you can get it repaired for much less cost than replacing.

Shop in my area quoted me $225 to repair one of mine so I decided to powdercoat them with this shop all black for $225 each.

Interesting idea. I’ve decided not to get a car with black wheels again unless the brakes are carbon ceramic, too much brake dust is visible.

I just wanted to follow up and say I found a custom wheel shop that repowdercoated and remachined the wheel. It took 3 days and cost $270, and now it looks brand new. Much cheaper than spending $1500 to buy one new wheel from BMW!

My wife keeps curbing wheels, I usually have them refinished every 2 years or so by a local shop - they do any excellent job and the finish is indistinguishable from factory. They charge about $150-200 per wheel.
