Looks like the site says 2-4 weeks lead time....

I think I got mine in about 4-5 days

From speaking with him on IG it seems like he was very transparent about the issues people are posting about. He told me they just have a big workload and sometimes fall behind.

So I finally mocked up splash guards this morning and I don't like the look. I like the fronts but im not a fan how of the rears look. Im going to be listing these for sale in the classified section.

Hi all,
so in all honesty it did take some time to get mine in, delivered to Canada. I cant remember exactly but it must have been at least 6 weeks as they were waiting to start a run on the X6 guards. that was ok as i wasnt going to try to install in the middle of winter anyway. i procrastinated on the install but just did it last weekend. the install is fairly easy, you have to clean really good, put on a primer fluid using supplied little brushes, wait 5-10 mins and put on the guards. it took me about 20mins total and they fit good. the only unusual thing in wanted to report is that the right rear parking sensors were going off the first couple of times after the install when backing up. not the guards fault but definitely related to the install. the sensors seem to be recalibrating to the new guards and the carbon fiber matches some to the trim on the exterior such as the gurney flap on the rear hatch. the install is just in time for the road tarring projects going on around here.

How is the fit? The profile on mine is terrible. It doesn't even follow the contour of the fender lip. any pics of yours?

mine are almost the exact as yours, i wasnt looking at the interior of the wheel well, but mainly from the outside as they look against the body they look good. Mainly with the fat tires my X6MC has i dont see very much of the interior of the wheel wells.

For a premium product they don't fit good imo. I've been talking to them about a slight re-design. I sent them scans of the wheel lips and arches and re-design tech drawings for the X6MC. Maybe it's just my "factory look" OCD. They should follow the contour of the wheel well otherwise they just look like a generic aftermarket stick on. My other issue is how little material there is on the lip side. I have PPF on the inside lip so I don't want to install them over the top in the event they pull away. I will need to put a couple rivets or expanding grommets in to hold them and there is not enough CF. I'm not confident the tape will survive Canadian winters. I'll be selling mine if there is no solution.

IMO yes. They look ok from the exterior, but the inner lip placement and non- curvature to the lip profile make them look cheap. There is very little adjustability to move them in or out for your preference.

His instagram account says "new www. coming in a few days". Probably didn't pay the last bill so now moving on to a new hosting LOL. That's shitty for you. Hope you still get them.

I hope you get your money back. He’s deactivated his email and now awol. I’m sure he’ll re- surface again. There another website that has just popped up called carbonguards.com . I ran a Whois on the site and the owner is hidden behind some shady domain privacy company in Toronto, Privacy Inc. don’t know if carbonguards is connected, but I suspect they are. IMO, Just the lack of info on the site is a redflag and screams Johnny Perez.
