Few updates (again take it how you like it and I am not changing how you see things outside of your little box).

- The hospital that a few of you were suspicious about is completed and started taking in patience tomorrow. It is not a permanently hospital, but have all the equipment you can find with doctors and nurses. Those diggers were not PS'ed

- This week is crucial as it considers to be the peak

- Some people have returned to work in the form of home office (working from home is something new to them so it is interesting to see what this will bring)

- A lot of productions are affected and this brings to a lot of conversations or conspiracies, you may say, about this virus. It is affecting both domestically in China and supply china here in the States

- Masks of all kinds are sold out everywhere on this planet (retail) and A LOT of people are taking advantage of it. Same for hand sanitizers

- Official numbers of deaths is over 400 now in China.

And in other news in US, the CDC flu data for 2019-2020 is:

- 19,000,000–26,000,000 flu illnesses

- 180,000–310,000 flu hospitalizations

- 10,000–25,000 flu deaths

This is just the US too between October 2019-January 2020. Consider the perspective right now when freaking about the Coronavirus.

00096% morality rate from the common flu
9.8% mortality rate from SARS.
corona virus is unknown but showing signs to be worse than SARS

Just some more perspective for you.

Something to keep in mind.

Hospitals and places that certify a death would categorize a death very differently.

Not saying they are lying, but one can be dead by complications from 2019-nCoV and these places may not categorize the death as that.

BTW, coronavirus has been around for a very long time and many have probably carried it at some point.

And what's the medical care like in Wuhan and China overall? The WHO ranks the Chinese medical care system at 144. The US is 37.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't take the Coronavirus seriously and that it isn't dangerous. But the lack of perspective for some is amusing especially considering the amount of people the flu kills in the US and worldwide. Pneumonia is what generally kills with the flu. Same goes for the Coronavirus.

The first death was reported 6 days after the first confirm case so you have to go what was the number on confirm cases 6 days ago to death ratio to get a more accurate number which bring it to about 6%

The flu has an ro of 1.2 this virus appears to have a 2.8 to a 4 right now making it more contiguousness. It also has a higher mortality rate and we have no natural immunity or resistance or medicatation for it unlike the flu.

Furtheremore symptoms don't appears until at minimum 3 days and the longest 14 and during that entire time the person is able to pass the virus to others

Yes right now the risk is low but if the virus break out in the america you will be heavily regretting saying it nothing to be concern about.

When your admitted into the hospital you don't instantly die. Do the math the proper way and it 6%

Real number appears to be 6% base on the numbers and proper adjustment. The numbers of all three spectrum I believe are fraudulent btw.
I agree with this point, they forgot avoid touching your face and proper fecal matter disposal

4th pointing out the incompetence of a government and internal organization isn't racist

It's just something I found on the Net.

And Corona virus has been around quite a while, this is just a new version.

Really getting tired of people pulling the racism card on this. This virus started in China and is a result of cultural practices and not a fluke or freak occurrence unrelated. If viruses were purely random you'd see some originating from Sweden, Italy, Hawaii and Australia at the same numbers. Never happens.

No one is being racist here. It started in Asia and has lots to do with their culture. Is what it is.

If someone served you snake soup straight from Wuhan today would you eat it? Could I call you racist if you didn't eat it?

It's also known that bats carry the MOST deadliest viruses known to man and they eat them. Bats are the origins of SARS. Is it crazy to assume a virus could spread as a result of eating one?

Give me a break.

Good plan. Arrest the doctors who try to sound the alarm on the outbreak.
