Ship is taking so long

I ordered a M50i back in August 2021 and it has now been shipped. I'm tracking the ship that is carrying my car. It left the US in late January and it still hasn't arrived.

I'm based in Perth, Western Australia - every port the ship goes to - and so far it's made 6 stops, it hangs around off the coast going in circles and then keeps missing scheduled departure dates/times.

The wait is killing me. Just venting. haha.

Wow why is it taking so long for the ship till it arrives?

My dealer told me that it will take up to 40 days till it arrives here in Melbourne, my car is still in production tho last time I checked with the dealer. That was 10 days ago.

You'll need to find out the ship that it is on. Had a mate whose car was supposed to go on a particular ship and it missed that ship so had delayed another month to wait for the next one.
Once they can confirm your car is on the ship then you can track it using website called MarineTraffic.
40 days is normal time from US to Aust - some stop at more ports than others but once it hits Australian waters, it would go to Brisbane, Port Kembla before Melbourne.
Good luck -- what did you order - being nosey

Well hopefully that won't be the case because these vessels take forever lol.

I've ordered x6 30d for my mum, that was on Christmas Eve and the production date was first week of Feb, I believe it's in the final process to be completed and sent to the port.

Very sad... wonder if the owners get to jump the queue for their replacement cars or back of the line they go?

Wow wouldn't you be annoyed if your new toy was on that ship.

Fascinating thanks for sharing

Yes I was wondering this too?

Don't you hate it when the ship carrying your new toy turns around and heads away from you.
Back the way it.
I do wonder what happened?

Sent a email asking if there's any new live cameras to the port.
