Tire wear on front pair of Pilot 4S is about 8-9k
I've tried to research tire wear to see how bad mine has been. I can't find much. I've got about 8-9k miles and the front tires are bald on the inside and the rest of the front tire might have 1-2k miles left. What's normal for front tires? The rears are doing better.
PS This is my wife's car and is driven conservatively 90% of the time. Thanks |

That's about right. 15k is about the max it seems.

Soft compound, hot climate, heavy pig with AWD and aggressive suspension setup. Can't expect much more than 8-10k.

All 4 of my PS4S tires needed to be replaced right around 9K miles. They were measuring about 3/32 all even across.

it sounds like you are speaking for Pirelli P Zero haha...I did 26k miles with original P4S which I had when I bought F95.
Now its my second new set installed a week ago and will surrender for another 20k miles at least before I sell or swap F95 for something else. |

You're in a very hot climate, with a very heavy car. Can go to an all season setup on 21" squares if you want but that's the only hope of getting more mileage. |

P Zero is worse you cant make 6-7k miles with it...P4S is the best standing tire at moment in all categories including durability thats why I was curious why you guys cant make more than 8-8k miles when I did 26k miles and my driving style is very aggressive also.

There's so much power in these cars you can get the tires to spin even a little, constantly, especially when the tires aren't warm and sticky and wear the fastest. I'd like to put a GoPro outside on a lot of these fast tire wear threads, I'd bet the tires are spinning quite a bit more frequently, even if just for a split second than they realize. The traction control is very good at shutting off power as soon as it feels slippage but it's still there if you're looking from the outside. |
