Looking forward to the videos!
Based on the sound in sport when driving - would you entertain the idea of a resonator delete? or no - would be too loud.
I have not looked into a resonator delete. Not sure if that is something I would pursue or not.

What would the value of doing be? Just sound, or does it remove restriction and allow for a few more hp?

Just sound. Not sure about a few more HP, but don’t think so. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Make sure to have the O2 sensor tool took me forever to take it off and stripped it abit. I put in a CTS catless dp. Hopefully it bakes abit and the smell settles. But it sounds mean

D10 thanks for the advice. Won’t be getting the tool but will take it slow with the O2 sensors.

How long did it take you?

From experience with a catless DP, the smell doesn’t change - it smells the way it does because there’s absolutely no cat - no time or baking helps with this. I bet it sounds gnarly for sure.

Well I didn’t look at anything online I just went for it. Took me about 2.5 hours. I could do it again in 40 mins. As far as taking it slow on the O2 sensors they where just stuck it took me so long to get them off, put some wd40 on them maybe and let them sit..
It was much better today actually so I think it does get better as it settles and all the oils on the pipe burn off.

D10 might have to upload to youtube and then share the link. I'll be doing the same, but with a catted downpipe.

So for the smell completely gone. I forgot to put a gasket from the OEM DP just installed it. No smell at all so far. Don’t forget to transfer the ring or you’ll have leakage and the smell too..

I’m happy with it. Finally recorded an “after” video this week. Will try to get before and after uploaded this weekend.

I used a little pb blaster and let it sit for a few minutes. Then (carefully) used a standard box wrench. Came out easy.

Lucky you, mine were superglued in by some a**hole apparently. I legit used a tube as a breaker bar that’s how stuck the second one was 😂
