Hi!
Has anyone managed to retrofit keyless access?
There are comfort handles available on ebay or aliexpress, but what about coding? I believe it will be needed, has anyone done it yet?

I don't know if the same wireless receiver is installed in the vehicle, so just the handles may not do anything, plus, the wiring harness to hook them up may not exist. The proximity sensors are in the doors, but the wireless receiver detects the fob once you're close enough to then enable them, if they're powered up.

Unlike vehicles of old where they may have built one wiring harness, and there may be lots of open connectors depending on the options chosen, BMW tends to build harnesses specific to a vehicle as ordered, so except for a few things, adding something later becomes a much bigger issue.
