You may see an improvement in 0-60 too.
Thanks, I'll check it out

^^^^^Run an 1/8 mile on 0 Map and then after cool down run another in your most aggressive map. Compare the MPH.

Nice, I tried LC one time after tune didn't got good numbers but I'm gonna try it again coz i made a mistake of not waiting for couple of second to build the proper boost before removing the foot from brake paddle.
Did you got 91 octane tune or 93?

We have 93 octane in NC basically everywhere.

The first time I used LC, I didn’t wait long enough. This time I feel like I did, but not sure. It wasn’t a great place for a run.

Maybe could shave off a little with some practice but it is …. Plenty fast for my tastes.

I was a little pressed for time. Found a road off of the path but it isn’t long enough for a real test. I’ll have to take it somewhere on a Sunday and see what it can do.

I got 91 map because 93 is not available here and I'm also trying to find a place to properly test 0-60 and 1/4 mile numbers

It can be difficult and sometimes dangerous generating these times on public roads and highways especially 1/4 mile time/trap.
A reasonably well prepped drag strip is best for many reasons and will clearly give you optimal times. Local streets are not going to reveal what your vehicle is capable of in most instances.
It is impossible to eliminate the driver variability.

Most certainly- I’m an old guy at 57 and have owned a lot of cars, and many fast motorcycles. I’ve done track days at VIR, CMP, Road Atl and Roebling Road. I’ve scraped an elbow on turn 7 at VIR (North Course) on an R6. I’ve owned Porsches, M Cars, AMGs and even a Ferrari. Hell my wife drives a P100D Model S. So I certainly understand the limits.

Obviously you get it with that backround. I've got you by a few years and have been up close and personal with the pavement on a couple different sport bikes. Very lucky to be alive.

I was back and forth with a few Tuners but landed on a EVOLVE remote tune. Like you, the tune had to be compatible wth xhp ( actual tq values sent to the tcu) and Evolve can handle it. I'm not a fan of the email support rather than just calling the tuner but we'll see how the numbers come out. I haven't seen too many n63b motors w this shop but they've done well wth the s63. I'll be the guinea pig I suppose and post in a dedicated channel.

I'll send my files this weekend and expect to get my files back likely by mid week. Aiming got 700 to 730bhp.

I had a ride in a pre ecm locked M850i a few years ago. Can't remember what tuning outfit the guy was using. The car was absolutely psycho, crazy fast luxury car.

I've read some issues between bootmod and xhp so I steered clear. However if I end up getting hybrid turbos I' may do custom tune via Uktu tuning and that'll be via bm3. For now, giving Evolve a shot.

Turned out my dme was locked so in the interim I got bm3 to see if that would work and that also needed the unlock. I paid for a local bench unlock (Justin from codemyeuro) and now I'm ready to load a tune. The main tuner at Evolve is Utku so I have him doing a custom tune via bm3. Evolve was kind of enough to issue a refund.

The first custom file is awaiting me to load it which I'll do this weekend and send the data logs back for some tweaks.
