MSport is just cosmetic for the 50e and in my opinion DAP is a must have. Since the 50e is unlikely to qualify for the tax credit anyways, at least the full credit, you may just want to order both.

Couple more things looks like if we stick with the limit of 80k on MSRP i think there is a n option to get atleast $3750 credit back looks like based on new rules isnt that the case ? - As its built in NA.

If remove MSPORT zero color options any advise what colors ready go well on X5 other than black and white ?

Not Sure why you advised DAP a must if you could elaborate please ? Like is there any list of features you could share it comes with .

Thanks in Advance

The vehicle being built in NA is a requirement to be eligible for there credit. Beside the MSRP limit, then the vehicle must meet the battery requirements. The 50e was not expected to meet either of them but with the more liberal interpretation of the law it may meet the battery assembly requirement.

Colors are a personal preference so whatever looks good to your eye.

DAP contains various driver assistance features as well as additional safety features. I use the cruise control as close to 100% of the time I'm driving on all different types (rural, highway, urban, etc.) and it does a very good job. It makes driving, especially on road trips, much more relaxing.

Thanks !

I think we will know exactly by Apr 18th i guess how much it would be eligible for looks like till that time its a wild guess i assume.

Once i place the order how much time will i have to change any thing i see the status now is 111 - Order Received with PRODUCTION DAY

As part of Standard Features i see below for x50e isnt that good enough i assume ACC is standard too so was asking again on DAP not listed in detail anywhere

Active Blind Spot Detection
Active Driving Assistant
1.Lane Keeping assistant w/ Blind Spot Detection as well as safety systems for crossing traffic and car exit situation (Active Blind Spot, Frontal Collision Warning with City Collision Mitigation and Lane Departure warning)

Saw this from the FEB 07 Press was trying to understand other than Highway Assist what else does DAP had couldnt find anywhere.

Driving Assistant Professional Package now offers Highway Assistant.
The new Highway Assistant, part of the optional Driving Assistance Professional Package, ushers in a new dimension of assisted driving in the 2024 BMW X5 and X6, bringing with it new levels of convenience and stress-free travel over long distances. It allows the driver to take their hands off the steering wheel when driving on limited access highways at speeds up to 85 mph. Drivers must, however, always maintain focus on the road ahead and be prepared to assume responsibility for steering.
Assisted View in the instrument cluster gives the driver an overview of the activated systems and their functionality. The central area of the information display is reserved for a three- dimensional mock-up of the vehicle and its surroundings. Here, the driver can see an image of the cars, trucks and motorcycles detected by the cameras and sensors in the driver’s current lane, along with those in any adjacent lanes.:

ACC, as in adaptive cruise control, is not standard, that is part of DAP. The contents are listed in the screen shot I posted above.

You can change it until you go into the Production Begins status which is about two weeks prior to your production date.

Is that actually the same for cars with Individual Paints? My dealer wants me to believe that I couldn't change anything on my car from the receipt of the order, even though it's scheduled for W24 production, simply because "it's an individual order"?!

No, it is not. For Individual paints and options there is a last change date for the order. In the US that usually occurs a few days after the order is entered. It is reasonable to think in Europe it may be upon receipt of the order.

Hmmm. I was considering changing the interior trim and was wondering why the interior trim shouldn't be changeable because of the individual paint?

Not sure why they do it but they lock everything on the vehicle. My guess is that it has to do with how they batch the Individual paints and wanting to make sure the other parts are available.

To me, LCI version looks OK-ish only in M-sport version, the regular is ... not that great. DAP on the other hand, is a very nice feature which is a must have on every car these days. I would choose both.

The rim option I like is only available with Msport pack. Also the cost delta is only $40 per month to add the Msport option... I agree with other that the Msport is the best-looking version.

I'm on the same boat..

without MSPORT, the car is simply too ugly for the price.
With MSPort, the car looks decent from 3 angles, and passable from the front.

DAP is also a must imo, for a car designed to cruise around town effortless.

but the cost difference considering rebate would be 7-8k... which is quite a lot to just get a better look. (not even a good look, just to make the car tolarable)
