Don't debate on it too long, you can only sign up for PCD right up until you hit 150 status.

Stuck in "Order Received" (111?), and was told last week of May for delivery.

For my current X5, the build and delivery were so quick, it was almost unbelievable.

As a side note, I've done PCD 3x times now, and it's fantastic...if you can align your schedule, well worth it.

Awesome specs for the build. BSM+Tartufo is timeless

Based on other weeks here, seems like we should hit 112 around the end of this week or early next. Then 150 around week 1 in May a week or two before the build date.

I read (and need to find it), that the PCD “experience”, minus getting your car there, could be done within a year of getting your car even if you pickup at a dealer. I need to look into it.

Debating if I’ll have the patience to wait it out if the option for the driving can be done ad hoc another time

Interesting regarding PCD, as I had no idea it could be done after the fact.

Bear in mind however, while the hotel, meals, and factory tour are nice, the driving portion (track) is by no means close to a HPDE session, it's more of a "feel good" outing, as you drive their cars at speed, with some slalom work, skidpad, etc.

I definitely wouldn't make a sacrifice (or pay) to do it, it's more of a cool experience than a life-changing event, but I am glad I did it....my $.02!

Awesome! You're going to enjoy it! We surely did. Make sure your CA submits the paperwork NOW. Don't let them say they can only submit it only at a certain time/phase in the build.

When I spoke with PCD they said the earlier the better, because even if you don't have a VIN yet it is essentially putting you in line and giving you priority over someone whose CA submitted the request after yours.

I ordered on 3/22, and it was accepted 3/24. It just changed to 112, yesterday.

Should be perfectly fine

The production week is tied to the allocation unless the item being added is something that they don’t have parts for (which doesn’t seem to be an issue this year, but was more of a problem last year and during peak supply disruption)
