Entered production just means no changes can be made. Parts are being lined up for actual build start on your date of 5/5.

Ok that makes sense. That was my original thought cause on the 21st is when I noticed the VIN populated and then extracted the production date from the code. So makes sense since I'm not far from the plant that it would be at the dealership around the 15th. This is our first Order. We love our 22 X3 M40, but want something bigger, hopefully we don't miss the X3 M40 too much.

Was able to get Performance Center Delivery on 5/24! Build date is 5/1. Glad I was still able to get that after entering stage 150.

My build date jumped up a day. It was previously 4/30 but is now showing 4/29. This could be a good sign for many of us.

Just got a VIN today as it moved to 150 Production begins status.

Since it’s a Canada order, I can’t get a production date unfortunately.

Any clue as to when could it be? Is it anyone’s guess ?

Also interested to guess when can I expect it in Ontario. Should I assume May ?

Orders usually go to Production Begins about two weeks prior to the production date.

Your fellow Northern brethren can chime in but I think it will take about a week to get there from what I have read.

Wow! I am fairly certain that TurtleBoy mentioned in one of his posts that Plant Spartanburg operated and manufactured vehicles on the weekend but I still found that hard to believe. It looks like you went from Sunday, April 30th to Saturday, April 29th. Great news for you.

I just checked my build date using the "F12 method" and my production date is still Monday, May 1, 2023. If all goes as planned, my guess is my X5 will be delivered on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Of course, given my luck, I will be stuck in quality control for weeks waiting for valve stem caps...

Incidentally, my 2016 X5 50i (F15, I think) has a few features that I wonder will be included on my X60i. For example, there is a hard drive where I can download music. Do the '24 GO5s have this? I really liked it because I could pop in a CD (which I know GO5s don't have) and the vehicle would copy the CD on to the hard drive. Also, the CD player doubles as a DVD player. I guess since the new vehicles do not have a CD/DVD player, this feature is not available. My X5 has the reclining rear (not 3rd row) bench seat (which was an option back then). Do the rear bench seats recline on the '24 GO5s?

Nothing worse than missing valve stem caps!! But it does make a good excuse to delay your new ride.

Seriously....hope you get it on time! My production date is May 4th. I too hope they have enough caps for all of us!!!!

2 days from finish production to dealer seems a bit optimistic but I hope not happens for you!

The G05's originally had a user accessible hard drive when they first came out but then they removed that option later on, I think starting with MY21. What you can do though is put your music on a flash drive and it will work the same as the hard drive did.

The rear seats are stationary except if you have the 3rd row.

My Week 16 vehicle finished production on April 18 and My Garage was updated on April 20 to “In-Transit”.

Yesterday received auto update email from dealer that vehicle was “On Rail” heading to Ontario.

Hopefully it arrives soon.

Got my Performance Center confirmation email today! Asked if I could have Extreme Color Auto Spa PPF (they PPF the PC vehicles) and tint it prior to delivery. Nope, but was worth a shot given 5/1 build date and 5/24 delivery. Staying an extra day to get that done. Asked if I could get a sneak peek at my car on 5/12 when I will be at another event there and they said maybe if it’s on site. No guarantee. If you don’t ask you definitely won’t receive so….

Congratulations! Mine has been scheduled for production on 5/1/23 and it has not budged from that date.

Please take plenty of pictures and post them when you can. Can't wait to see it.

Well, it’s 6:30am on 4/29 and the status is “awaiting carrier assignment.” Looks like it’s been built.

OMG, I woke up this morning and my garage has me in entering production. When I did the F12 process it said status 153 which I think means entering assembly line. However I note my production date has not changed from Monday, 5/1/23. So, kind of strange that it enters assembly line on Saturday, 4/29/23 but the production date is still Monday, 5/1/23. In any event, really happy that things are happening. I still think that unless there is an issue in quality control and assuming there is a truck available to transport from Spartanburg to Northeast Florida, the dealer should receive my X5 by Wednesday, 5/3/23.
