Indeed it was. I didn't get to enjoy driving as much as I would have liked to today. Spent several hours in the driveway getting all settings as I would like. Fortunately tomorrow looks just as nice and I can get over the break-in period.

Congrats on the delivery! Love the color choices. I almost went with Skyscraper grey metallic.

Mine was delivered late Friday as well and I took delivery yesterday 9/30. Drove the vehicle 400 miles from Mississippi to Houston, TX and absolutely loved every mile of it!

That's tough. It would be nice to save on destination charge and just be able to drive down there and pick it up. I was fortunate enough to see mine delivered to my dealership in Wilmington, NC the same day that it moved to "Dispatched from Factory." Hang in there, it'll be there soon!

Will anyone having taken delivery please share with me their iDrive version?

I was annoyed that mine was not delivered with remotely the newest version. More than anything I want home exclusion for Comfort Access. This has been agreed to be updated immediately by my dealership as soon as I am available to bring it to them.

They of course offered to come pick up the X5 from me, but there's not a chance of anyone getting the keys for a while.

Thank you so much for that information. The Genius at my dealership was not able to provide me with the same information. He believed, as I did, that it was something that was available on the X5. My vehicle was built on September 26, 2023 and delivered to the dealership on Friday the 29th with version 07/2023.40. That doesn't seem to make much sense to me why it would not have .53
