We were just driving to dinner and I was was driving my wife nuts. She says "hey bmw, eject my passenger." The car replies, "I'll roll down the passenger window," LOL, as in, the rest is up to you. We had a good chuckle.

I have not yet done much with this yet but have experience with voice commanded control. Here's a good one, I have a 2009 Accord EXL V6 and it has voice commands but the Japanese put some tricks in there. If it is hot outside and you raise your voice or curse at it, it turns on heat full blast!!. In cold weather and you curse at it it turns on AC full blast!!! Have not tried to curse at my X5 yet

Thanks. Good to know but beside the point since I am trying to easily turn on and off the second row a/c without affecting the front row. Don't think the Sync button would help?

It turns the rear on or off and does not change anything in the front row.

Yes, you are... because even with a favourite toggle, it involves at least (1) locating the button and clicking it (2) either reaching to the turn wheel or the screen and click second row ventilation sub-menu; (3) on the next menu page, toggle on or off the second row ventilation.

I'm hoping to be able to do it with just 1 action, which seems impossible (FYI I've tried toggling the on /off as the favourite short cut but that does not work. The closest I've gotten to was the menu page before it, which I think is 1 less click than going through the centre a/c button). If a voice command can turn it on and off, I will find that handy compared with clicking the 3 buttons, which require the attention of your eyes and hands.
