Glad it worked for you, it's a great feature

I included the DSC VIP for completeness but I'm not sure how BMW are using these settings.

I'll double check what I have in VIP again, and update the spreadsheet accordingly.

I understand how VIP is supposed to work but the fact it doesn't seem to be needed is a puzzler.

Thanks! I subscribed to this thread and will wait to see what you have in VIP. Much appreciated!

aSLA still only works in US right? I've read somewhere that nobody managed to get it to work in EU yet..
Yesterday I finally managed to get the Traffic Light Assist to work, now only aSLA is missing for me

Total opposite.

aSLA doesn't work in the USA by default but does work in some EU countries, including UK.

The coding enables it for all regions.

Oh my bad, I messed up the abbreviations. I was talking about the eTJA / Assisted Driving Plus, aSLA is already working from factory in my car

I did wonder with you having a DE model

ETJA works in US, CA and Japan that I know of.

I'm not 100% how they are restricting the feature but it seems to be linked to us vs ece car type and geolocation/nav. Most other assisted driving features are controlled by land masks, but apparently not this one.

Thank you for sharing the codes for aSLA. I have successfully coded it, I was trying to add the codes for DSC_VIP but any FDL changes to this CAF keep givingerror. Just out of curiosity please can anyone advise if you are able to make changes to DSC_VIP?

Code VIP in diagnostic mode, not with the engine running.

Ifr...just checking to see if you had reviewed the necessity of the VIP coding? Any updates to the spreadsheet? Thanks!!

The coding for VIP is as per my vehicle. While they don't appear to be needed, I would code them for belts and braces.

I've updated the spreadsheet.

Is there a way to accomplish the following:

Let's say I have my CC set to 64MPH & currently the BMW reports the speed limit to be 60MPH. Then it sees a speed limit change down to 55MPH. Is there a way to auto change my CC down to 59MPH. This would be the same deviation but at a different speed limit. Essentially, SPEED LIMIT +4.

The +4 is just an example so I'm not talking about just setting it to plus 4 in the iDrive settings.

You can set 2 fixed values as per the idrive settings. That's it

Thanks, IFR!

Although the 2 fixed settings are great, the functionality I described would be even better. On freeways, I'm generally okay driving 10MPH over the speed limit, however, my actual speed vs the speedometer have always been about 2-3MPH off in BMW's. Therefore, it would be nice to be able to maintain at {SPEEDLIMIT +12MPH} while on the freeway.

I guess I'm not quite sure what exactly you're asking that's different from what you can do in idrive. Idrive let's you have two different offsets depending on speed. So you can do speed limit plus 10 for above 50mph and speed limit plus 4 for speeds less than 50mph. Are you wanting an offset greater than 10mph?

Would you please share the sheet again? I'd like to code aSLA, but found out the file your share is out of date.

I am dreaming about implementation of aktive stabilisation to my X5 air suspension as it realised on X7 with Executive Pro suspension.
Is it possible at all? What do you mean?
I tried to add this option to my FA, but when I calculate FP it turned back with error ((
Now I don't speak about the technical part of this question. When aktive stabilisation can be added to M Pro suspension on X5 ( no air ) and to Executive Pro ( with air ) on X7 theoretically it can be mounted on normal air suspension of X5.
But for properly work it should be properly coded I guess and that's the problem ((
Can you please take a look at it?

Hi, everyone, I apologize for using machine translation.
Tell me what to believe for the functionality of the option *asla adjust to route*, on the HU-MGU is displayed and automatically put a mark about approaching a circular movement or a fork on the road, but the decrease in speed is either very minimal or it does not happen.
These posts were reread first of all.

aSLA and eTJA are running on G05 in Japan (istep2019/03)
TJA has tried changing Istep to 2020-07, but it doesn't work now.

I get the message "Not supported in your country".
I would like to participate in this forum as I share information.

thanks.

Let me unpick this, as it sounds interesting...

So you had both aSLA and eTJA working with i-step 03/2019. I assume you had Assisted Driving View (ADV) too?

How did you code eTJA? Add 5AR to FA and VO Code SAS2 and HU_MGU, or just FDL code?

Did aSLA work by default or did you have to use my coding?

Now, the interesting bit - on a G05 that was upgraded from i-step 03/2019 to 07/2020 the eTJA stopped working? What about aSLA and ADV? Assumption that you restored the coding of course.

I don't actually need eTJA anymore, but it defeated me so always interested in another crack at it.

Did I say that?

You helped me once with some unusual question.
And I thought you are an expert in this and have some interest in cracking some unsupported things even if you don't need it yourself.
And in my point of view this problem lied on software field.

I just asked for help, nothing more.
I didn't want to offend you somehow))
And would appreciate your opinion on that.
If you don't have time to take a look at that just never mind.

Most peeps post a general request for help and then if someone wants to help they can chip in.

By directly asking me for support on a completely unrelated coding query you are putting me In a position where I have to either help you or say no. I've been there before on this forum and it didn't end well.

I'm not dial a code- I don't do support, I don't help users except on my own terms. There are guys on here who want to help others as much as they can, good on em. I'm not one of them. I don't have time or inclination which is why i shut off my inbox.

I wasn't offended or annoyed. Just be clear I don't do coding requests. It's a hobby
