Really? What frozen black did you own? I had a Frozen Black m4 and it was easy to maintain. Never looked overly dirty even when it was. My BSM GTS and M2CS on the other hand look dirty 10 minutes after cleaning. I think the Frozen "scheme" works well in the right config on the right vehicle. Timeless IMO. It shows lines like no other.

Great spec @jroberts87! My F82 was this same spec inside and out. My best looking M to date.

I like seeing the individual colors when they're not black/white/silver or a monochrome in other words. I go to BMW SA for service and they rarely have anything interesting for individual colors.

I like the exterior and interior color combo. Like mentioned above, nice to see individual options for the X series.

I never liked any of those matte finish paint jobs. Just looks like some old faded junker that never saw any love its entire life.
Try an optometrist.

I appreciate owners getting speciality colors they love because they add to the variety we see on the road. Bravo. However Frozen Black does nothing for this car when comparing to a gloss Black paint job. In a gloss Black the car looks like beast. In frozen Black the car looks dull to me. It's my reaction to Frozen Black in particular.

Don't the wheels look tiny on this car. I'm sorry 😢, I would never buy this car as is.

If I was going to to do the matte paint I think I would go the XPEL stealth route incase something happens. I can't imagine doing paint/body work on that.
yes, that’s the way to go. I did it on my X3MC and will do it on my X5MC as well.

Have you owned frozen color before? I had two and contrary to popular belief it is easier.

I concur, and it doesn't show the swirl marks or micro scratches

I concur as well. Nothing like a true factory frozen paint job. Easy to maintain and looks the business. I will say that blue X5M wrapped in stealth PPF (X5MC_LI) looks unbelievably good IMO. Ofcourse I am biased though.

Ah, good point—agreed. Get those, too: intake, tune, fatter tires, springs, new paddle shifters, spacers, PPF, exhaust if needed, custom grille, coding if you can't DIY, tints, CF retrofit where necessary, etc.
