CODING: automatic load level?
i couldn't find any posts/threads that specifically address if coding exists that automatically drops vehicles with 2-axle air suspension down to LOAD level when placed in park. (we're small peoples!)
is this possible? |

Not that I'm aware of or there would have been prolific replies if it was possible.

I think air suspension is a popular feature. I've replied to product improvement inquiries on the 2-axle air suspension feature and suggested they add it as a remote feature to the app.
I think the auto drop to load on Park feature would be very popular. I'm short in addition to my English Bulldogs, LOL. Since this is the first time BMW has rolled out a new closed system 2-axle air suspension on X5/6/7 (standard on 45e and X7), they maybe taking a wait-n-see how popular this option is. All the mechanicals are there for it to happen - just need software revisions to make it happen. BMW makes steps forward on some features and then takes a half-step or full step backwards in roll it out. I will commend them for rolling out a fairly fault-free 2-axle air suspension.

In its current state, auto drop to load on Park would not work since very few folks would sit there long enough for it to drop before opening the doors. If they get rid of that requirement, which is likely for safety, then I can see it being used be many.
