I am hoping there will be some reviews soon with comparisons with and without DHP. Curious if I wouldn’t miss it if didn’t try it. Kind of like flying first class...

I'd say absolutely worth it

Also, the 50i friggin' MOVES by the way. I mean absolutely neck-snapping torque at pretty much any speed. It barely feels like the engine is working. Simply effortless feeling. I am now seriously considering finding another 10K to bump to the 50i. I can only imagine how insane the 2020 M50i with the new 530-horse engine will feel next year (nevermind the upcoming X5M). It should be a 4.0-4.2 sec to 60 machine. I have a feeling folks will be getting around 4.4 with this 50i when they start hooking up their VBoxes |

I still can't stress enough that if you are someone who does NOT drive your vehicles that hard, you probably don't need the DHP. But if you DO drive hard then the option should be a no-brainer. |
