Got few 0-60mph and 1/4 mile runs 2024 X5 50E

Did 3 back to back runs , it was pretty consistent. 21" wheels and tow package. Im sure base car on 19s and without tow package is even quicker. Surprised that BMW put launch control on regular SUV like 50E , builds around 7psi on LC . I'm not sure how accurate that factory boost gauge is , it showed 10psi max during runs unless that's how detuned that motor is in 50E

Base with 19 will be worse for sure. 734 wheel quality isn’t on par with 741. 741 possibly even lighter. And base car as 265mm width all around with all season. 741 is summer, and 275/315 width. 0-60 is all about launch and traction.

741 with tire, front is about 66lb. Rear is about 71lb. Not sure what is 734 weight.

BMW X5 with a tow package (7500lb) 0-60 in 4.39 seconds. Got to love that! No other SUV compares with the Ultimate Driving Machine in performance and handling!

Who knows , I don't think it will spin the 19 with narrower tires . So much less tire rolling resistance too.

Yes it's pretty quick . It was 4.05 sec with 1ft rollout. My wife's daily 😆

12.73, Excellent 1/4 mile indeed with a very respectable 108 trap which is a better indicator of street power/performance than E.T.
Not the 115 mph that the auto press got for the M50i but a good bit stronger than the 40i's 102 MPH(LCIs should both be better with a nice power bump).
Keep in mind that the 50e is a nearly 6,000 lb vehicle.

Nice! On my X7 M60i with draggy it ran 4.18 and 12.53 @108.88. I just bought a 50e with the 19" all seasons. As soon as I put some miles on it, I will get some data.

That's great . Can't wait for your results. 50E would improve alot if the launch was setup differently. The car takes off so slow for like half a second then it hits harder , the LC is setup so much better in other BMWs .

I think there is 12.6 in it easy I just need to play with it few more times , we will find out shortly

Try a brake boost to at least 2500 rpm and another to 3000. That usually works better than launch control. Worth a try.

Just curious if anyone has ever run their X5/X6 for 0-60 or 1/4 mile in the hidden menu Dyno Mode…which seemingly gets rid of any “interference?”

Can't do that on 50E , rpms won't go up unless the LC is activated by turning off TC

I guess max. 480hp if the 1/4 mile run was with the driver only.

More miles on the car and tires got more grip too . Couple runs from today .4.3 sec 0-60mph and 4.0 sec with 1ft rollout . I think 3.9 is possible 🤔
