Aftermarket rear diffusers
Has anyone tried any rear diffusers besides the M performance CF one? If so please post some links/photos/feedback!

This is the one I got for my car in gloss black. Turned out great! High quality. Made with same materials as OEM products. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Painted-Bla...53.m2749.l2649 |

By the way anyone knows where I can buy the Carbon Fiber diffuser for a reasonable price other than the $900+ range that most stores/dealerships are selling it at? I found tons of gloss black ones on eBay but none as CF

I'm getting some messages on the rivets so posting here. I used 1/4" blind rivets with 21/32" head diameter. It matches the stock exactly. Links including tools that I used below:

Personally love the subtle M Carbon diffuser. Adds a nice touch without too much.

[QUOTE=ADY282;26893891]You could fit the lip but it would probably look strange because it’s one piece and the trailer hitch would have a gap with the lip underneath the gap.

Paid around $1100 from the dealer, also had them do the install before delivery which was nice.

Does anyone have a painted tow diffuser - skid plate on their G05/G06 they can share?
I've got a white X6 with the OEM tow package and the tow area just doesn't flow well with the rest of the car.
Being that the bumper itself is the dark shadow WB27, I'm leaning on a painted gloss black as shown below or going with a color matched diffuser in dark shadow. If someone knows a custom shop that can mold a tow cover I'm open to that too. Can anyone please post a pic of their painted G05/G06 tow diffuser? |

Hello. No I did not install myself. It was installed at a body shop when I bought my car. Sorry I know nothing about its installation.
