Replaced all plastic buttons with galvanized ones
Hey guys, thought I do a post on this as I haven't seen it here.
I replaced the steering wheel buttons and window switches with galvanized ones, makes such a difference! |

I don't know. While it's different, the replacement buttons don't match the rest of the black buttons in the vehicle. The new replacement buttons would probably look fine on the non M Sport steering wheel with the ugly looking airbag/horn cover.

So the window switches are from an X7 (make sure to get the ones without the rear privacy window blinds) I walked into a showroom and just ordered it to the vin of an X7 in the showroom 🙈
I'm pretty sure the steering wheel buttons are from a 7 series. |

They all have black plastic present, even the wheels you're talking about on the 7 series has the black plastic switch for the steering wheel heating.

I can't remember exactly anymore, but I think for the steering wheel buttons I paid $100-150 and $100 for all the window switches. Sourced and fitted.

Those look like "stick ons" They are not the button replacements the OP has.

I ordered the steering wheel buttons from the M760 (M-Sport steering wheel). Part number 61319461243. It should work. They just got delivered yesterday so I haven't gotten around to installing them yet. I'll post an update once I have more info.
I just noticed elite-fusion's link to the stick ons... those seem like a much more cost effective option. $14 instead of almost $300. The stick ons look pretty good in the photos. |
