Help Fix Paint Fading?
My fellow Bimmers,
I parked my carbon black M50i in my building's garage and some weird liquid dropped on my door panel. Wifey found out a while ago but thought it was just some dirty water so we didn't pay too much attention. However, when I washed my car today, I found out that the liquid marks are permanent, making me think it had to be some acid that eroded my paint. I tried wax and it did not work either. Have you guys experienced similar situation and any recommendations on how to fix it? Thank you so much in advance ![]() |

Weird. Have you tried a rubbing compound yet?
