I am picking up my X5 M50 tomorrow and want to get ceramic coating. Have never done it before. I called a couple places that have very good reviews and was quoted $1850 for 4 layers and $1400 for 1 layer. This is a lease so I am not looking to spend a fortune and don't need lifetime protection. The color is black sapphire metallic. Is one layer enough to make it 3 years. If not, what should be the minimum I am looking for ? Thanks in advance
![]() By the way, I am in NY, right on the North Jersey border. |

Really happy with the results. In terms of longevity of ceramic coating, the biannual reapplication ( e.g. CarPro Reload) is crucial to maintain the ceramic layer. |
