Prior to picking up my X5, i got a pre-approval from navyfed for 4.54%. I was using it as backup plan in case the dealer use the jan incentives and not the dec incentives when we first negotiated. I ended up using bmwfs for 5.94% since i needed to use them to get deal negotiated from the pior month. Even with higher interest rate, i still save using bmwfs due to difference in rebates. Half down plus payoff in 3months is the plan. Or i might just give navyfed a call and try to refinance it with th % they initially gave me. But i would only save an additional $80 if i do this.

That 4.54% is the 36-month advertised rate. You would be the first person on this forum, Reddit, and a few other places I've checked who has gotten their most recent lowest advertised rate. Are you new to Navy Federal, or have you already been banking with them?

Just looked at the papers, that is correct. 36months for 4.54%. I wasnt concerned about the length as i intend to pay it off very quickly. I also put down a big chunk for down payment but i dont think that mattered since i wasnt asked what i was buying.

Im a loooooooooooong time member. My paycheck also goes to navyfed direct deposit.

That makes a lot of sense then. You probably have a good internal score with Navy Fed.
