Mirror Signal Indicator Consensation

Over the past few weeks I've noticed significant condensation inside my driver's side mirror signal indicator housing.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm confident this will be covered under warranty, but I worry how much has to be disassembled and replaced. If anyone can answer that, any thoughts on whether this will be a relatively simple repair?

My X5 has Parking Assistance Package, so there is a camera in the mirror. Delivered new 11/18. Passenger side mirror is completely free of condensation.

Scheduled service. Would have been nice if BMW had reached out to me about the FOUR open campaigns on my VIN.

I just made an appointment to have my radiator fan replaced and they told me too that I have 2 recalls outstanding. Not sure if it's the ones you have listed.. I can't remember what he said the first one was, but the second he said was related to batteries.

What is the problem with your radiator fan if I might ask?

When the fan runs at high speed (every day now in Texas summer), it transmits quite a bit of vibration into the steering wheel. Here's a thread that I'll update once the replacement is complete. I randomly dropped by the dealership and let the shop foreman feel it, and within a minute he said let's order a new fan.

To the OP, I haven't seen any condensation in my mirrors (sorry, that sucks). There's an active thread in the X7 forums about a user with condensation inside their headlight (which REALLY sucks).

Well, couldn't hear or feel the vibration of course but man that fan really cranks on high! I bet if you were to place your phone on the steering wheel with your audio recorder app on, it would pick up the vibration quite well. It could be the fan if the fan your dealer has ordered includes the bearings. Time will tell. Thanks for the reply. I tend to record the various issues owners are having onto a spreadsheet and I didn't have your fan issue there yet.
