How did you code eTJA? Add 5AR to FA and VO Code SAS2 and HU_MGU, or just FDL code?

Did aSLA work by default or did you have to use my coding?

Now, the interesting bit - on a G05 that was upgraded from i-step 03/2019 to 07/2020 the eTJA stopped working? What about aSLA and ADV? Assumption that you restored the coding of course.

I don't actually need eTJA anymore, but it defeated me so always interested in another crack at it.
Hello ifr

In 03/2019, aSLA and eTJA are in operation as standard in the Japanese specification and are not coded.

I have FDL'd the aSLA and previously published TLA coding in the cheat code to make TLA work, but TLA does not work.
The TLA is just displayed, it doesn't work and doesn't cause an error.

I thought that what is missing is aSLA coding, so I changed the default code to the aSLA code, even though aSLA was working in Japan.

So I compared the cheat codes with my car and decided to change all the aSLA coding from nicht_aktiv to aktiv, 000000 to FFFFFFF or Gen1.

The only change to the aSLA coding is that the TLA's "Not supported in your country" has been added to the aSLA coding.

My consideration is that the aSLA and eTJA could be activated only by some other code besides the cheat code? I assumed that.

In a nutshell
I meant to say that aSLA works by default in Japan without having to enter the aSLA code published on Bimmerpost.

By coding aSLA, I was able to get the "TLA does not work in this country" indication for TLA.

OK understood.

I didn't publish the TLA coding and if that is what you are working from then you will be part of the way there, but it won't work.

I'll PM you.

I tried to FDL code TLA too.
It ended with no error, was enabled in idrive, it identifies traffic lights, shows it on dashboard, but asks for manual activation all the time.
So I guess something is missing.

Anyone have issue coding 3D14? Playing with aSLA, but any changes I make based upon the G05 cheat sheet ends in error. On 7/2020.54. I've got some of the features working, but wanted to see what else could potentially become active. The VIP ecu is the only one I can't seem to code. Feel free to pm me.

My daughter has appreciated the interior lighting color changes so I appreciate the contributions to this.

You almost certainly don't need the VIP codes for aSLA, but if you want to get past the error just code in diagnostic mode (engine off - 3 quick presses of ignition button) instead of engine on.

I thought maybe that would unlock the anticipation ability. (Can't remember the exact feature name). It currently says it's not available in my region. Thanks for the tip. I've been doing everything with engine running. Some things likely won't work since I don't have all of the advanced modules. The subtleties like slowing down slightly in traffic are much more appreciated than I expected.

I also coded the extra codes for vld post 3/2020. I didn't notice much, if any difference, from what I experience with what was coded via FA.

Do you have SAS2/3? That's where the main coding for aSLA is. Some of the codes are mirrored in VIP, but not required.

I only put the aSLA coding together for cars with 5AU/Drive Assist Pro, in regions where its not supported i.e. Speed Limit Assistant works, but requires manual acceptance for each change in speed limit. The coding provides the automatic acceptance option. It also includes some coding for adapt to route - slowing for roundabouts, junctions etc

Nope, no SAS. Sadly. I think I'm about at the limit of the fun I can have.

Ha ha. not at all. I'd definitely do it, and come up with some elaborate but unrealistic justification as to why it makes financial sense

I've read all the messages and I would like to ask a few things:

Is iD7 required for these? And do I need to have 5AT?

I've started this project about a year ago for my 2017 G30 with 5AS (with a retrofitted SLI): https://g30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1702052

I've achieved to enable EDP (Limit Assist that works to restrict top speed limit), but I couldn't activate SLA, VZA or ISA(not for G series as I understand).

How can I activate SLA and VZA for G30 with iD6 with 5AS instead of 5AT?

Your support will really be appreciated

You need 5AU (DAP) for my coding, which means you need full i-drive 7.

Thanks for the reply. I've realized some parameters are id7 specific. I've found the similar ones for id6 and prepared some CAFD files. I'll give it a try again. Activating SLA is enough for me anyway. Thanks again

If auto-accept Speed Limit Assistant is available on pre LCI G30, and you already have the manual version, then it should be possible. Not something I've looked into.

auto-accept is not available on ID6 (pre-LCI). I've activated the menu for the manual version but none of the items can be selected. Only thing selected is show limit information under Speed Assistance menu. "Accept Manually" and "adjust to route" can not be selected.
