Keep in mind that she is an artist so looks at colors much differently than car folks. What do you think about an X5 in that color?
I think it works on a larger SUV as well. I find it to be a much more interesting color than say, arctic gray, due to the gold undertones. I think the only time it actually looks dull is on an overcast day, during the daytime. At that point it's hard to distinguish from just a regular gray.

However any sort of light reflection (from sunlight, or a street light, etc) brings out those flashes of gold that make the color instantly pop.

That being said, i do find it to be a "sporty" color... if that makes any sense. So while I think it would work on an SUV, I do think it's still better suited for a smaller sedan/coupe.

Thanks, that makes sense. I have some time to ponder/persuade before I will be ordering. Maybe I will get to see one on person which would help.

Oh wow, that’s the best I’ve steen the color! It’s just stunning!

Now I’ll have to move to a sunny climate to get the same effect

Cool pictures and love the color, but think that the white balance may be throwing things off a bit. The neutrals (whites/greys) are showing a lot of red and as a result the greens are really popping/differentiated due to red/green contrast.

If you have photoshop/lightroom then click the WB dropper on the house, neutral concrete, white fence, etc. to see how dramatically it changes the color rendition of the pic.

Agreed. It doesn't look QUITE like that in real life. Definitely showing much more green tones in those pictures.

Seems like all brands now pick a few colors, declare them upgrades and charge heavily.
Porsche bends you over to the tune of $3,500 for their "Miami Blue" which doesn't even have a metallic or similar content.
they no longer have Miami Blue

Tried to take out the over saturation.

There the colours look more natural. Agreed? Still the car looks really nice!

Still looks very green. In person there aren't really any green hues in the color - just the gold tint when light shines on it.

Here's a few pictures showing it in different light:

Those photos actually make it look like Manhattan Green, which, I assume, it does not.

Nope, mine doesn't look green at all. The photos from wtwo3 are the most accurate to how it looks to the naked eye.

Sorry for the delay... here is a corrected image. Still has some green but more a reflection from the trees and grass here. Also ran the conversion on your JPEG vs. an original RAW which results in less gamut to work with for the correction. As a result still not accurate but better than before. Environment plays a huge issue with respect to color perception vs. reality... what color is a white horse sitting under a tree in the shade on a clear sunny day? Your mind thinks it's white but the reality is blue.

I would say that's still quite green. Here's a reference with an unedited pic I took in winter sunlight last week.

A lovely olive green but it definitely suits sunnier locations - god knows why it's an option for U.K. G05s then
