Looking great in both iterations and am curious if your old 741m setup is equipped with spacers or stock? If so, do you mind sharing the specs as I've got an MY22 AG GO5 45E on order and am going down the rabbit hole with fitment options? Thank you!

thanks! my OEM 741M did not have spacers, though I would've installed 12F/15R if I kept them.

How does it look at Loading height, trying to decide between 18mm or 20mm in the rear with 22" wheels, currently have 21".

Here are a couple of pics at loading height.
I have Pirellis which I think don't bulge like the Contis.

I didn't want 2 sets of locks with 2 different keys, so I decided to "split" the difference, and order a set of 47mm locks. I really don't think 3mm in either direction is going to render the car "unsafe" by any means. I don't have the car yet, but I don't expect any issues.

EDIT: This post was updated, as I received incorrect info from RGsport.
Did the 47mm locks work out for you? I'd like one set of locks too.
Thanks.

25mm in the rear may be too much

Yeah, unless you are really wanting an Uber-aggressive look, 25mm would be too much in my opinion as well. I’m lowered running 22” 315s on 20mm and definitely would not want anymore poke than this!

I recommend an 18mm spacer in the rear, 20mm if lowered.

Thinking about adding wheel spacers to my new 2022 X5 M50i.

I don't think it has air suspension.

It has 742M 22" wheels - which one do you suggest?

12F-15R or 15F-20R?

My recommendation is 12/15 for stock height and 15/20 if you are lowered.

I would highly recommend 18mm in the rear, currently have 15mm on a stock air suspension and it is not flush.

Are you looking at it while car at sport height or loading height?
I too have G05 with 2 axle air suspension, and comfort height, 12/15 is the perfect setup. 18mm will poke out unless if your suspension is on sport or loading height.

I have air suspension and 21's with 15f/20r. I would personally go more aggressive in the rear as a heads up. My E70 is much more aggressive with 25mm adapters in the rear and I love it but my G05 with 20's is a bit too tame for my tastes. If you like things aggressive then 20mm might not do the trick as an fyi. Attached pic might not be the best angle as it looks pretty decent but I assure you that 3-5mm extra would probably be my most preferred width. Regardless it's not worth getting another set so this will stay.

Here is mine on 12/18. I have Pirellis which in my opinion don't bulge as the contis and even at regular height it is not flush. I am considering trying the 18 I have in the rear in the front and going 22.5 in the rear.
If you are running Pirellis 15/20 is what I suggest but it is all about the stance you like.
If you want more pics I will be happy to send from different angles.
I am on air suspension so the pictures are a combination of sport and loading height.
I got my spacers from Ben. Give him a call he has done many X5's.

I have an air suspension with 15mm spacers in the rear and this is in comfort mode. As you can see from the picture it is not flush at all.

I recommend at least 18mm in the rear.

If I were to do it again, I would do 12mm (F) - 18mm (R).

Thanks for references everyone. Really helpful.

How do I even find out if I have air suspension?

VIN: 5UXJU4C05N9L79123

Based on above reference photos I think 15-20 seems probably the perfect setup for semi aggressive stance. I have continential tires, not pirelli.

Does air suspension makes it stick out even more or not?

Hmm, it probably because Pirelli.
All that I've been measuring are on Continental.

No, your car doesn't have air suspension.
