r33_RGSport Ben, any idea if it would be best to put a bead of silicon around the module if installing the RGBW version? just to ensure that the write that goes through the seal will not let in any air/water to prevent condensation?

Just a few dabs in the middle, then put enough pressure on the board to flatten the adhesive.
I will have picture hopefully this weekend.

That instruction is for G80.
The module location is different on X5M/X6M.

Got all the pictures, but been busy.
SEMA bound today and won't be back until Friday night.

In a nutshell, need to remove the fender liner and thin rachet.

So far I'm counting 6 hours, and I'm not even close to being done. For me it's 10/10 difficult, I have to remove the tires and the fender line. Modules are very hard to reach, and putting them back on is even harder. But, it can be done if you want to challenge yourself. That's my two cents.

I would recommend just to remove headlights at this point (you already removed wheels, wheel liners etc.) bumper comes off pretty easy and then you have clear access to the headlights.
This way its gonna be much easer to access modules.
As I mentioned above modules are not the easiest to remove and re install even when headlights in your hand (very tight fit) also you need to apply some additional paste

Done RGB on my G05 X5. It is a bitch, but manageable without removing the bumper. Need some slim tools.
