I focus purely on the percentage off msrp when I shop...after looking at forums and market adjustments. I was ~12% off MSRP and negotiated a great trade in number.

My philosophy with dealerships is they are eating hot dogs and not filet mignon when I buy a car. And never impulse buy, I walked out on them twice during negotiations...the sales manager called me back a week later and we did the deal.

12% is very good. Does this include any incentives such as loyalty ?

Did you finance or lease where they might have added a pt to your rate to recoup some of this discount?

I financed with the 2.99 apr and military discount. The ~12% off MSRP did not include military discount and they didn't add pts to the APR. I've had dealers try to add pts to APR and I've walked. Bottom line, research your numbers and do your best to get to them...don't give up. There are dealers out there that will negotiate. Additionally, timing is another aspect...the 25's SOP is next month so I knew dealers had to start moving the 24's.

Well done!! 12% off pre incentives is significantly better than any broker out there, in my region at least.

I am the opposite right now. We are in the start of pollen season and can't wait for the rain to come to wash it out of the air a bit. Plus I want to see how the fresh ceramic coating beads up. Yeah, I am weird.

Saturday is heavy rain in DVM.
Use your leaf blower to dry it after the rain is done.
Mine will be in the garage. We are expecting 1.53 inches Saturday.
Probably wash it Monday for the first time since the ceramic coating. Getting a little dusty Using Car Pro Reset car wash. Ego 650 blower.
