45e hypermiling fun
Drived my 23' 45e to work today instead of my daily driver i4, and tried a bit fun hyper-miling time. No coding no range extender on the vehicle.
Temperature is around 8 °C and fairly warm so I did not bother with AC. The drive is 20% city and 80% hwy. Need to climb about 3 hills each 150-200 meters elevation. In the end 67 km was reached, and I think we higher temperature and flatter drive it should easily reach 70 km maybe even 75, but I am faily impressed already! |

23.8kwh/100km is like 2.6mile/kWh. Totally doable with AC off and hyper mile. If flat, you will probably get to 3mile/kWh. For a one stretch highway with AC on and normal driving, I usually need up 2.3mile/kWh. AC off and a bit it hyper mile, I can get 2.7mile/kWh. Best I have ever archived with best effort, alone in car, not cargo, super light foot, expressway 45-50mph speed, I have got 3.1-3.1mile/kWh before but this is entirely not realistic for average daily usage. Let me find some screen cap for that.
