Just stupid and dangerous. The liability with the car running over someone is enormous. Reminds me of the knuckleheads that want to sleep behind the wheels of their Tesla’s.

Assuming this was a good idea (it most definitely is NOT), how do you get back into the car that is parked in a tight spot??

Fair point, but the car will either not allow or will abandon a tight spot, and the algorithm intends to position the car basically exactly half way between the other two cars. So you're unlikely to not be able to get back in. After all, if you were in the car during auto-park, you'd still need to be able to get out.

Of course, but this savant was not in his car, and said he would use his “hack” for tight spaces where he would not be able to get out of the car.

Not only would I never do this.... I would never choose a spot that tight for fear or door dings.

Still..... funny video. The only thing that would have made it better is if the vehicle crashed into another car... lol

Absolutely stupid. It's not even a "hack" as it serves no benefit. The guy's a moron....they can't "roll it out in the app". Pretty sure the UK police would hammer him for that.
