You're incorrect. BMW doesn't run a 305 tire period. Our F15 M Sport had 315/35/20 rear tires we drove for 4 years and never had a wheel or tire issue. Going to the 22's will only decrease our side wall height by 0.6" which is not enough to change the ride or the wheel damage possibility

He is in europe. I read somewhere about an alternate winter size?

My order is exactly 40i with front 275/45/20 and rear 305/40/20. Maybe as someone mentioned there are different sizes in Europe and US.

3rd row seats are delayed until 2/19 SOP. There's a video and blog from BMWBlog showing the 3rd row and getting in and out of it. Just google 2019 BMW x5 3rd row.

This blows! I was supposed to pick up the X5 today but it wasn't on the carrier. Now, I cannot pick it up until Monday afternoon!

M3 Chris posted photos of his G05 in Vancouver. One showed a compressor (with a can of flat tire sealant, not shown), a first aid kit, and something that looked like a business class amenities kit. My USA build came with none of those things. Anyone else?

It is not actually tint as it does not reject UVA or UVB rays. BMW calls it ‘privacy glass’

What exactly does that mean though? What is privacy glass?

Also, this may sound like a dub question, but does window tint/film do anything for ANY type of noise rejection? Anything at all? (Other than keep out some light? lol)

I didn't even go fancy just base model Phytonic and black interior. The new vernsasca is super nice.

The new OS is taking me some time to learn, I got to take one home for the weekend and had a chance to play with it.

Launch is today (November 10th) and not the 15th.

Could the compressor be related to the air suspension? Maybe you need the latter to get the former?

Thanks for the info. The backseat in the video shows slight wrinkles in the leather as described in other posts here.

I don't have air suspension. My G05 comes with the 22 inch and they are surprisingly NOT run flat tires. That's why they give you a compressor and tire sealant.

I find run flat tires harsh compared to non run flat. And with the larger 22s with even less sidewall cushion I'm glad they are not RFT.
