Dravit Grey X5M Comp....powdercoat stocks wheel black or leave as is?

Just curious what you guys like on this color.....I have the 809M wheels pictured (the pic isn't my actual car....but same specs with wheels, red calipers, and exterior color).

Do I leave these wheels as is or do I powder-coat them gloss black? I almost feel the dravit is a more aggressive color that might look more put together with black wheels (and it might make the dravit pop a little more). Photoshopped the black wheels on....

I love the look of the black wheels but they are unforgiving. I had them on my 2019 DG with all the trim in black. As careful as I am, I got curb rash once or twice and it stands out big time on the black. Drove me nuts looking at it until I got it repaired.

Are you leasing the car? If so, leave it stock.

Well, no, technically the inner parts are already black...it's really just the "face" of the wheel that isn't.

Don't think any other colors would look good (besides black or leaving stock)......not to mention you are playing the game of not knowing how it will flow until it's painted and on the car and then my only option is a repaint if I hate it.

I think the 809s look good stock. If it were the 818 I would paint.

I vote to leave them as they are. You have a unique color exterior and the wheels add a pop that they all black doesn't

Yes, the stock is a nice contrast to the grey...black contrast goes the other way.

Ended up getting them powdercoated….I just think it will look better. Otherwise there is too much going on with the car with the gray, red calipers, silver wheels, and blue trim pieces in the headlight for the laser lights.

I feel the black will make the gray stand out way more….the wheels are a bit too busy in silver on this car with the dravit. I looked at a lot of M3/M4 pics in that forum since a lot of people have posted pics of Dravit there and they all just looked better with black wheels versus the ones with silver wheels.

I also think it will fill in the enormous wheel gap illusion, too.....

No, they are gunmetal I think....which in pics seems to look really good clean but they look like shit when dirty...and I'm sure it doesn't take much to get them dirty due to the brake dust. I ended up getting my black ones ceramic-coated, too, so I can hopefully avoid that most of the time.
