Nah, i quick bit of xpel is cheap, easy, and works fine.
I know this is going to sound like crazy talk, but what would be wrong with door sills designed to be stepped on without scratching? I mean why put a piece of soft metal there that practically says "step on me" and make it out of a soft easily scratched material? Don't get that one.
Because it’s cheap and they want you to pay to replace them!
