i just got my '21 g05 with executive package with the glass controls. i realized the arrows doesnt light up and thought its defective and ready to have a conversation with my service advisor.

iDrive Clarity glass controller as optioned from the factory, the arrows are not lighted. 3rd party controller retrofit parts most likely have arrows that allow for the standard factory iDrive controller ambient lighting to light up.
