BNSF Training Tracing to West Coast

Hi Guys,

My 45e just moved from "dispatched from factory" to "in transit", which I believe is triggered by the Norfolk Southern train arriving at the KC VPC.

Now it has transferred to a different train from BNSF and it is on its way to Renton Washington VPC. Any idea on how to track BNSF train? I already have the bill of lading information.

Thank you so much!

If you have an account with BNSF (BMW sure does), same applies to NS, then yes, it can be tracked.
More likely, like all of us, you won't find anything out till its at the VPC.
When I ordered a 2014 Grand Cherokee, I tracked its progress by train from Detroit (assembly plant) to the rail yard near Ontario, CA. It was interesting to see the different towns along the way as it made its journey out here. BMW is behind in doing that. Or they don't want people to know. I'm sure they will say its for (some bs) security reasons.
