X545E truck dimensions

My lease on my X3 is ending shortly and thinking of moving up the X5 again. Can anyone tell me the height width and depth of the trunk area? I would like to fit 2 dog crates side by side, so will need the depth to consider if the hatch infringes on the dimensions at the top. Thanks in advance for anyone’s help.

It is the same as the normal X5 only no under trunk area and it is 2-3 cm higher.

There is a thread about trunk size for two dogs and someone replied it was big enough for two Shepards.

I currently have an X3 so don’t have the dimensions of a regular X5 either.

It is in the link I posted. It is comparing trunk size x3 and x5. The x5 is 5 inch and 1 inch wider longer than the x3. It will be the same for the x5. Just a bit raised floor.

Thanks for the reply. I misunderstood your previous comment.

Do you know if the hatch interferes with depth. In my X3M40 the slope of the hatch eats a couple inches of depth from the trunk.

Also since I’m putting a dog crate, I need the height to roof instead of to the back seat.

if you a have a dealership nearby you can just bring a crate and see how it fits into the x5 trunk.
