Hey guys,

New to BMW.
2024 x5 50e soon order

I’m planning on adding the M front splitter as I think it completes the look of the front of the car.

I haven’t asked the dealer yet, but I was wondering if pricing and availability is out for this part yet? And is the dealer the only one to purchase M parts or are they sold through distribution channels?

We carry BMW M Performance parts and plan to carry these parts as well.

The front splitter has no ETA yet but BMW Retail pricing is at $2700 for the set.

Correct the set is a left and right carbon splitter.

This is so true! I would wait for other manufacturers to come out for their lips as well. Such as 3D Design, AC Schnitzer, Paradigm, etc... they may have better designs than what the OEM M-performance parts offers.

Maxton Design do a good set of add on for a very competitive price.
Not sure whether they have anything for the newer models?

Maxton make some decent stuff but they seem to take forever to release them. I waited for what seemed a lifetime for them to do a splitter for the G06 as I bought mine when it was released. Similar story when I had a G30 at release - crickets from Maxton for some time.

Hopefully they can be quicker with G05/6 LCI stuff.

The part numbers shown there are for "TRIM, BRAKE INLET, CARBON MSP RI M PERFORMANCE", which sounds like the air hold trim pieces to me.

I am on the same boat here in the UK, expecting delivery of my X6 and opted for the rear carbon spoiler available from factory via the configurator, but also wanted to fit the M Performance steering wheel and the front splitter, according to the dealer they should be around 1300-1500 each. Hopefully they become available to be fitted before I take the car. Wondering if anyone has a list of performance parts on the new X5/6 LCI models.

Thanks for that, wow so the 1040EUR is just for the 2 inlets? Also I haven't seen the steering wheel as well which is on that Java Green video, it's on the X5 section of the link you sent but not on the X6, presume they are interchangeable anyway.

I was at the dealership this morning to discuss performance parts available to my X6 40i, it's weird but they only had a few bits, the splitter is nowhere to be seen really.

One thing that stood out was a comment from the parts manager that going with the M Performance (Alcantara) steering wheel would lose heating that is fitted, I found that very silly, does anybody have any info about that?
