Any recommendations for a phone mount/holder for MY24-25 40i? Heard the vents are not a good option and I’m not a face of suctions on the window or dashboard.

Serious question, your car has an enormous screen with wireless Car Play/Android Auto, why the need for phone holder?

I can probably answer this question.

not all apps show in the CarPlay GUI. I have work apps that use Face ID in order to gain access so having my phone mounted (I use ProClip) allows me to do this action which can’t be done via the GUI or if the phone is stored away in my pocket or bag

Exactly the reason why I need a phone mount. I saw the ProClip but was looking for options. The attachments they offer are not that great.

this is my mount on my 45e. It consists of:
- dash mount
- 15° wedge (not pictured as it was added later)
- GPS ball mount
- third-party MagSafe charger

That’s what I’m looking for! Aside from the mount it sounds like I need to get the GPS ball mount and the 3rd party MagSafe charger? Can you share where you got the other 2 parts?

I got the MagSafe charger from Amazon (mine is discontinued since it was almost 4 years ago). just inspect the product photos for a ball and socket that tend to be a standard size so the ball should fit in ProClip’s GPS mount
